St Constantin Hospital, Brasov

Project Details: Ropharma has recently assigned Optim Project Management to supervise re-conversion works of an old industrial building from Brasov in a new private hospital.
The new medical unit, with an area of 10,100 sqm spread on GF + 3F, will have a total number of 143 beds (79 for continuous hospitalization, 18 beds for intensive care and another 46 for day hospitalization) and a large area for outpatients as well.
The hospital will provide as main core treatment for oncological disease, transplant and various surgical procedures such as: urology, general surgery, vascular surgery, cardiology & angiography procedures, pediatric surgery, orthopaedics & traumatology, thoracic surgery, plastic surgery & reconstructive micro-surgery, gastroenterology, gynaecology, ENT, radiology (CT scan, MRI, X-Ray, mammography) etc.
Optim PM will provide Project Management and Cost Management services and the scheduled delivery date is June 2018.

Hospice Casa Sperantei

Client: HOSPICE Casa Sperantei

Optim Project Management will offer pro-bono services for the restauration of the historical property of HOSPICE Casa Sperantei Foundation, in Adunatii Copaceni, Giurgiu.

According to David Evans, General Manager: “We, at Optim, have always appreciated the activity of HOSPICE Casa Sperantei and their involvement with terminally ill children. We are honored to assist with our knowledge and experience in Construction Management and we are very delighted to have a direct involvement in the Hospice’s plans”.

The mansion was built at the end of 19th century on the domain property of the Florescu family. The old mansion, now property of HOSPICE Casa Sperantei Foundation, will be consolidated and restored to house terminally ill children. The mansion shall offer a total of 780 sqm of accommodation and support spaces and is set in a plot of 17,000 sqm.

Offices/ Laboratory Building

Service: Commissioning & Validation Services

Project Details: Optim PM was appointed to perform the commissioning and validation activities for a new laboratory and offices building at the GSK Europharm Brasov Site in Romania.
Our main activities to GSK in Brasov include preparation of commissioning and validation protocols, preparation, execution and processing in the name of beneficiary of the commissioning/ qualification tests and elaborate operation and maintenance procedures.

Medicover Maternity Clinic

Client: Medicover Romania
Service: Project Management

Project Details: The project consisted of the fit out and upgrading of an existing office building into a general private hospital with a GBA of 6,000 sqm (+7F / -1B) with a total of 55 beds (4 ICU beds), 3 operating rooms (2 beds pre-OP and 2 beds post-OP) and 2 birthing rooms. The general layout of the specialties is as follows: general specialties for adults and children, general surgery, obstetrics – neonatology, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, CT scan, MRI, and administrative area. Optim Project Management managed the demolition, fit-out process and commissioning on behalf of Medicover, making sure that the tight programme, the budget and the high quality standards were met. The hospital is fully operational since March 2011.

Sanador Hospital

Client: Castrum Grup SRL
Financing Bank: Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR)
Service: Project Monitoring on behalf of the Bank

Project Details: The Private Hospital built for Sanador is located on Sevastopol Str., Bucharest, at approx 100m distance from Piata Victoriei. The development is made of 2 complexes totaling some 12,000 m2 GLA and has 200 parking spaces on 3 underground levels. Optim provided Technical and Financial monitoring of the construction on behalf of the Financing Bank BCR, ensuring Quality, time and Budget constraints were met.
