Dunapack Corrugated Cardboard Production Facility

Project Details: Dunapack Rambox, the Romanian unit of Austrian Dunapack Packaging Division, has appointed Optim Project Management as General Designer and Project Manager for its new Corrugated Cardboard Production Facility in Bolintin Deal, Giurgiu County.

Optim PM was procured for the contract in Q3 2017 and immediately started to provide full Design services, being responsible also for the Permitting process.
The ground works of the new Corrugated Cardboard Production Facility started at the beginning of October 2018. The production facility is being built on a land area of 11.56 ha, out of which 5.85 ha will be dedicated to green area, and will have a total GBA of 31,345.80 sqm. As parking area, there will be in total 182 parking places and will be dedicated to small and electric cars, trucks and shuttles.

Besides General Design, Permitting and Project Management services, Optim PM is also providing Cost Management, Site Inspection (Dirigentie de Santier) and Health & Safety Coordination services.

The opening date of Dunapack Corrugated Cardboard Production Facility is targeted to take place in 2019.

Optim PM, General Designer for Arctic New Factory

Client: Arctic SA

Services: Full integrated design services (Architecture, Structure, MEP), Project Management for Tendering Phase, Permitting, LEED Certification.

Project details: Optim Project Management was appointed in 2016 by Arctic SA as the General Designer for Arctic new home appliance manufacturing facility in Romania.

The new factory will be located near Targoviste, Dambovita County and will have a GBA of 84,000 sqm on a plot of land of approx. 72 ha. The facility will consist in a production building (45,000 sqm), a warehouse (30,000 sqm), an office building (approx. 5,600 sqm), and will have a green area of 68,000 sqm and in total 490 parking places.

The full scope of services include General Design and Permitting, Project Management for tendering phase and consultancy for LEED certification.

The building permit was issued in April 2017 and construction is set to be completed by the end of 2017. Arctic SA wants to make out of this Arctic factory one of the biggest home appliances hub in South-East of Europe.

Optim PM appointed General Designer for Yildiz MDF Factory in Romania

Client: Yildiz Entegre Romania
Services: Full integrated design services (Architecture, Structure, MEP), Permitting, Dirigentie de Santier Services, Health & Safety Monitoring

Project details: Optim Project Management was appointed in 2016 as General Designer for Yildiz Entegre’s new MDF Factory in Romania, located in Arges County.

Yildiz MDF Factory will be developed in phases and the 1st Phase of the project will have a GBA of about 99,000 sqm, and will consist of several buildings and technological structures, with different functions.

Besides being the General Designer, Optim PM is also providing Permitting, Health & Safety Monitoring, and Dirigentie de Santier Services.

The Building Permit was already obtained and the Phase 1 will be delivered end of 2017.

Full design project and permitting undertook for ETI

On 25th of November 2014, OPTIM PM attended the ground breaking ceremony in Craiova with ETI, a Turkish biscuit manufacturer, together with municipality’s and ETI’s representatives and the Turkish Ambassador to Romania.  ETI European Food industries, have commenced in November a green field construction of their first factory outside of Turkey, on a plot of 7 hectares of land, with an investment of 40 mil euro.

The first phase of the development of some 20,000 m2 includes for raw material storage and production hall, utilities buildings and social and administrative buildings.

Optim Project Management undertook the full design and permitting for ETI’s new factory.

Optim received in April 2014 the first details regarding the concept and full design including DTAC, PT and DDE delivered by October, a total of 7 months, the Building Permit was issued on 6th of November 2014.

The design project for the biscuits factory has been a challenging task for our architecture and engineering team, due to the different specific technological requirements of the production process. Optim Project Management will now also supply Site Management services.

ETI have seven factories in Turkey, exporting in 40 countries and in Romania will produce savory and sweet biscuits and other cookies.

Industrial Laundry Oradea

Client: Salesianer Miettex
Service: Project / Site Management

Project Details: The project is part of the Euro Business Parc Oradea and consists of the construction of an industrial laundry with a total build area of 3,600 sqm and 15,400 sqm external areas namely parking and green areas. Optim PM provides full project and site management services to complete the project within the approved budget and complying with the agreed deadlines, keeping constant control of the quality of executed works.

WDP Industrial Park Codlea I

Client: WDP Romania
Service: Project Management

Project Details: Optim PM provides site supervisor services during the development of the construction works for WDP Industrial Park Codlea – Building 1 site, of approximately 5,000 sqm of light logistics for an international automotive parts producer. The project is located close to DN1, 9km from Brasov and the industrial park has a potential of development of approximately 111,000 sqm of logistics/production facilities.

Bamesa Otel Storage Hall

Client: Bamesa Otel SA
Service: Design, Procurement, Cost & Project Management

Project Details: Optim PM was appointed as Lead Designer and Project Manager for Bamesa Otel SA’s new storage hall in Campeni, a village in Dolj County, near Craiova. The estimated built area is 3,600 sqm. Technical and design solutions applied to the existing facilities were according to the current European, Romanian and Local laws and regulations. Optim PM provided the design including rezoning, cost, procurement and project management services to complete the design and construction within a tight time schedule of 7 months and within the agreed Cost Budget.

Timisoara Seismic Retrofit

Client: Procter & Gamble
Service: Construction Management & EHS Coordination

Project Details: Timisoara Seismic Retrofit Project consisted of the MSG Building and Silo Retrofit for Procter & Gamble in Timisoara. The existing building was strengthened and enlarged around a powder and liquid line which were fully operational during the works. Optim Project Management were assigned as Construction and Health & Safety Managers for the project. There were considerable challenges as the existing line remained fully operational throughout the works and the site had to be carefully managed regarding Health & Safety, with minute planning and control of contractor onsite.
