Optim Project Management has become the leading real estate project management company in Romania, as it celebrates 12 years since its creation. Founded in 2009 by David Evans, International Project and Construction Director with comprehensive project and construction management experience gained through working with developers and contractors in Central-Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South America, Optim Project Management has reached a number of 100 employees in 3 countries and 225 successfully delivered projects.

David Evans founded the company in 2009, in a full global recession, and from a humble beginning, having only one active project and 10 employees, he led the way for the company to become the top Construction Project Management firm in Romania. Over the years, the company brought refreshing new ideas to the construction market, combined with considerable professional experience.

The company started its activity by providing project and construction management services and has developed over time into a reliable partner, with capabilities to manage projects in the interest of their clients from the concept phase, in various sectors such as hospitality, retail, offices, residential, manufacturing and logistics, hospitals and clinics and entertainment.

Today, the company offers an array of services, which includes project, construction, and cost management, commercial management and contractor procurement, design management, construction planning and programming, health & safety coordination, and site inspection. In the transactional sector, the clients can rely on Optim Project Management’s technical due diligence reporting and project monitoring. The company has also specialised in niche services, providing claims management and dispute resolutions assistance.

Due to market trends and requirements, a specific area of interest for Optim Project Management was the creation of its own design department. This development allowed the company to respond to the clients’ needs and this in-house capability serves today as the infrastructure of Optim Project Management – allowing its clients the ability to obtain these services from one source – and has quickly become a leading architectural and MEP installations design company.

In the years that followed, to expand its services on the Southeast European real estate market, Optim Project Management opened its first branch outside Romania in 2017 in Bulgaria and in 2020 in Serbia. Both branches offer project, construction, and cost management services for all the real estate sectors.

Optim Project Management has an impressive and strong portfolio (225 large scale projects, more than 4.8 million sqm built with passion, and over 125 technical due diligence reports) with projects worth over 1 billion Euro in almost all construction sectors. The company was responsible for the construction of the most well-known investments in Romania as varied as ParkLake in Bucharest, one of the largest home appliances hubs in Eastern Europe – Arctic Factory in Targoviste, J8 Office Park in Bucharest, St. Constantin Hospital in Brasov, The Marmorosch Bucharest | Autograph Collection hotel, ISHO Living residential investment in Timisoara, and HOSPICE Casa Sperantei – Adunatii-Copaceni Centre.
