Successful internship program at Optim Project Management
With new complex, major projects on the rise in the real estate market, the construction industry is constantly looking for qualified workforce. For the second year in a row, Optim Project Management organizes an internship program, both in Bucharest and Timisoara.
During this summer, two students from Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest have joined the program and were assigned on the construction sites for City Gate Plaza refurbishment and Sun Plaza extension. In Timisoara four students from Politehnica University of Timisoara – Civil Engineering Faculty are part of the program, being allocated to four construction sites from the company’s portfolio: Bega Business Center, ISHO Living and Auchan North & South.
One student begun the internship program last summer and become a part-time member of the team during university season. He is now in his third year and continues with the program. Another student was also a successful member of the internship program, this year she has finalized her studies and has become a full-time employee.
“We are happy with the results of our internship program developed with the Construction Universities from Bucharest and Timisoara and we strongly believe this is a win-win scheme. We want to extend this partnership with the Architecture University as well” said Manuela Savu HR Manager within Optim Project Management.
