Optim Project Management was assigned as Project & Cost Manager for the refurbishment works that real estate developer GTC is to start at City Gate for the plaza between the towers (waterproofing, paving, architectural lighting and urban furniture) and the three basements; project aims to transform the empty space into green, quality areas which create more private space and relaxation benefits. Optim PM will also assure health & safety coordination services as well as site inspection services (dirigentie de santier).
The general contractor was already assigned, the developer waiting now for the construction authorization to start works that are estimated to be finalized in four months.
GTC Group is at the forefront of the commercial real estate sector in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe since 1994. The company owns and manages 35 commercial buildings which combined office and retail space of over 550.000 sqm.
City Gate, awarded in 2009 as the ‘CEE Real Estate Office Development of the Year’, represents one of the companies’ premium office projects in Bucharest, ideally localized in the North part of the city, just near Romexpo and comprised of two standalone buildings with a 47,700 sqm. leasable area, almost fully occupied.
