Optim PM embraces sustainable policy and recycles 240 kg of paper waste
Part of the company’s strategy regarding the involvement in eco initiatives, Optim Project Management continued in 2017 to sustain Recicleta, a social entrepreneurial initiative of ViitorPlus NGO. The employees of Optim PM recycled last year a total of 240 kg of paper waste.
“As a company acting in the real estate industry, we are involved in different green certification processes for several schemes and we can see for ourselves the positive impact on the environment. We wanted to take an active role and have an eco-business activity, and therefore we have sustained Recicleta”, Oana Iagaru, Administrative & Financial Manager of Optimp PM explains.”
Recicleta is an initiative of ViitorPlus NGO that was established in 2009. It is the only selective waste collection service for institutions which generate small paper waste (25-150 kg). It works by collecting the paper waste with a non-pollutant transportation means, the cargo-tricycles, and employing people in difficulties that run the cargo-tricycles.
