Optim Project Management completes Tiriac Tower in Bucharest
Optim Project Management, the leading Construction Project Management company operating in Central, Southern and Eastern Europe, has completed Tiriac Tower, the latest landmark in Bucharest’s central business district, on behalf of Tiriac Imobiliare.
Appointed in 2018 to manage the construction of the office tower and with a team of seven professionals, Optim Project Management provided a range of services including Project Management, Cost and Commercial Management, Claims Management and Health & Safety Coordination.
The development, covering a total built area of approx. 31,000 sqm, offers modern class A offices on 12 aboveground floors, 5 levels underground car parking with a total of 259 parking places, and almost 700 sqm of green terraces. Tiriac Tower benefits of 12 parking places for electric/hybrid vehicles equipped with fast charging stations, dedicated bicycle parking, showers and changing rooms.

Tiriac Tower is the most modern office building in the area, as it adhered to new standards and has innovative constructive solutions, being equipped with the latest sustainable technology – advanced HVAC systems with modern handling units, LED light solutions.
The building benefits of generous glazed surfaces, with access to 75% natural light for the leasable area, and it has solutions to reduce water consumption. All these features allowed Tiriac Tower to obtain the LEED Platinum certification, one of the most well-known international classification systems for green building, environmentally friendly and advanced technology. Also, the building received the WELL Health-Safety rating, the latest accreditation system that helps landlords and tenants to adapt their buildings to post-COVID-19 reality and communicates to everyone entering a space that evidence-based measures have been adopted and third-party verified.
