Let your ideas shape the future – this was our drive, inspired by Continental Automotive, when we were chosen as a partner for the extension of its facility dedicated to electronic assembly and manufacturing in Timisoara.
The objectives: an innovative though integrated with the surroundings design, to fit the need of modern world production environment. Technical solutions that were not invasive or disturbing for the location activities. A future-orientated factory/office, which would be from structural requirements and energy topics a reflection of a best practice example. Everything, of course, with safety and legal compliance regarding construction norms, as basis.
The result: Continental Automotive Timisoara Factory – Extension Phase III, a production shop floor with adjacent production support areas, logistic and handling areas, lobby and social rooms, as well as office areas – a built developed total of 12,417 sqm, on a land of 35,026 sqm, with 26% green area and 460 parking places.
Another successful project that Optim Project Management developed with Continental Automotive, providing Design Management, Assistance during Permitting Phase, Procurement, Construction Management, Cost Management, Health & Safety Coordination and Site Inspection services.
Our extensive collaboration with Continental includes: Continental Automotive Products platform Timisoara (Fire Protection System Design, 2022), Vitesco Technologies Testing Laboratories Timisoara (2022), Contitech Warehouse, Laboratory and Offices Romania (General Design, Permitting, Technical Assistance, 2021-2022), Contitech Warehouse 2 Romania (Design and Build, Permitting, 2021), Continental production facility – Hall 7 Timisoara (General Contractor, 2019), Continental Automotive Serbia (Design Management, Procurement, Construction Management, Health & Safety Coordination, Site Inspection, 2020-2023).
