Optim Project Management to Accelerate Continental Automotive’s Expansion in Sibiu

Optim Project Management, a leading project management company in SEE, has started this summer managing a major expansion of Continental Automotive’s production facilities in Romania. The company provides Project Management, Cost Management, and Health and Safety Coordination services for the extension of the existing Continental factory in Sibiu.

The extension works will add an additional 17,920 square meters to the existing facility and will allow Continental Automotive to increase its production capacity. The new module will be used to manufacture automotive electrical components that require high levels of cleanliness. It will also include areas for packing, unpacking, quality control, and laboratory functions, all of which must meet the same high cleanliness standards as the electronic production process itself.

Optim Project Management has extensive experience in managing projects for Continental Automotive and Tires divisions in Romania and Serbia too. In 2022, the company delivered another extension to Continental Automotive’s factory in Timisoara, Romania, and in early 2023 a greenfield factory in Novi Sad, Serbia. Currently, the company is working also on the extension of the Novi Sad Factory (38,000 sqm).
